Sponsors and Donors
Generous financial sponsors keep the North Bay Science Discovery Day a free event! Join a growing list of individuals, corporations, and foundations that recognize the importance of sharing science with our community. Showcase your commitment to STEM education and connect with audiences of all ages to highlight your passion and excitement for STEM.

On March 9, 2024, North Bay Science Discovery Day will celebrate its 12th anniversary! This presents unique opportunities to inspire youth to get involved in STEM. Over 100 STEM exhibitors will provide hands-on activities for over 10,000 youth and their families!

The North Bay Science Discovery Day operates on a $46,000 budget; half is for the venue (fairgrounds), a third for promotion and advertising, and the remainder for event logistics (e.g., programs, signs, hospitality). No personnel (FTE) expenses or institutional indirects are included.
The North Bay Science Discovery Day is sponsored entirely by individual, corporate, and foundation support. The event is organized by a volunteer committee of dedicated science enthusiasts, in partnership with the University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.

Impacts
Science festivals spark young people's curiosity and excitement for STEM while also strengthening a community's STEM learning ecosystem. They also provide scientists opportunities to communicate and educate the public. Your sponsorship enables us to keep admission and parking FREE to ensure all families may attend, regardless of socioeconomic status. Join us in creating an inclusive environment where shared experiences and enthusiasm create a sense of community, allow parents to see the enthusiasm of their children for STEM, and facilitate a sense of the North Bay community that connects organizations, schools, and families.
